Welcome to Club Coast and Tide by Club Coast ("Club Coast") website located at clubcoast.co (the "Site"). Please read these Terms of Service (the "Terms") carefully because they govern your use of our Site and our services accessible via our Site. To make these Terms easier to read, the Site and our services are collectively called the "Services."
Who May Use the Services
Eligibility
You may use the Services only if you are 18 years or older and capable of forming a binding contract with Club Coast and Tide by Club Coast and are not barred from using the Services under applicable law.
Registration and Your Information
If you want to use certain features of the Services, you’ll have to create an account ("Account"). You can do this via the Site when you first check out. It’s important that you provide us with accurate, complete, and up-to-date information for your Account, and you agree to update such information, as needed. If you don’t, we might have to suspend or terminate your Account. You agree that you won’t disclose your Account password to anyone and you’ll notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your Account. You’re responsible for all activities that occur under your Account, whether or not you know about them.
Club Terms & Conditions
Club Name
The name of the club is "Club Coast and Tide by Club Coast" (the "Club"). The Club is a proprietary club, owned and operated by Club Coast (the "Proprietor").
Club Rules
These Club rules (the "Rules") set out the terms and conditions of membership at the Club (the "Membership" and each member a "Member") and have been created to safeguard the use and enjoyment of the Club by its Members and their guests.
Confidentiality
The Club’s management and all staff members adhere to the strictest confidentiality standards and pledge to maintain all records and personal information concerning the Members and their guests in the strictest confidence. For more information on document retention, please see our Privacy Policy.
Objectives of the Club
The objective of the Club is the provision of networking and friendship opportunities, whether online and/or at the Premises, as available from time to time, of a club for the purpose of allowing like-minded individuals to network at event locations (whether online or in person), for both business and pleasure, and hosting live events for Members and guests.
The Club
Where the Club does not have premises, from time to time, the locations and venues chosen to host club events should be respected and treated in accordance with the rules and T&Cs of the area and venues. Club Coast nor Tide takes responsibility for any member's conduct or actions within or at any location and requires members to take responsibility for themselves upon attendance.
From time to time, the Club may deliver optional paid events, courses, or services that require additional fees to attend or receive. You will be given the option to attend or receive these for payment of the relevant fee but will not be required to attend if you do not wish to do so. Places may be limited.
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee shall be nominated by the Proprietor from time to time (the "Membership Committee").
The Membership Committee shall consist of senior Club management (being elected by the Proprietor) and individual Members (if any) selected by the Proprietor from time to time at its sole discretion and shall meet once every month. The Proprietor reserves the right to replace any Member who is elected to the Membership Committee at any time and without notice for any reason whatsoever.
The Membership Committee shall exercise the powers given to it under these Rules together with such other powers of management as it may from time to time undertake at the request of the Proprietor, who may veto or vary any decision of the Membership Committee.
The Membership Committee may delegate to the Club any of its powers relating to Membership.
Control and Management
The Membership Committee shall have all administrative powers necessary to carry out the Objectives of the Club in accordance with these Rules.
Becoming a Member
Every candidate for Membership must be at least 18 years of age. Membership is currently free of charge. Those applying for Membership (a "Candidate") will be required to fill out an online application form (a "Proposal") to be reviewed by the Membership Committee.
The Membership Committee shall have sole discretion as to who shall become a Member of the Club and shall have the right to refuse any application for Membership for any reason without giving any explanation.
Members shall have the right to propose potential Candidates for the Membership Committee’s consideration. The Membership Committee’s decision shall be final and binding, and the Membership Committee will not enter into any correspondence or consider any appeals.
The Proprietor reserves the right to introduce membership fees at any point in the future, with prior notice provided to existing Members. Members will have the option to accept the changes or terminate their Membership.
Cancelling a Membership Application
A Candidate for Membership may withdraw their application at any time prior to it being accepted.
Following confirmation of a Candidate’s acceptance as a Member, Members will have 14 calendar days from the date of acceptance (the "Cooling-Off Period"), during which they may withdraw their application without incurring any cost. Membership cancellation can be initiated by emailing clubcoastco@gmail.com. Membership will cease upon the second calendar day from the written confirmation as mentioned above.
The Membership
Membership is non-transferable. A successful Candidate shall be notified of their acceptance and shall become a Member of the Club, entitled to all the benefits and privileges of such Membership. All Members agree to be bound by, and to observe at all times, these Rules.
Membership terms are ongoing unless otherwise specified. The Proprietor reserves the right to introduce changes to the Membership structure, including but not limited to implementing fees or updating terms, with prior notice provided to Members. Members will have the right to accept such changes or opt to terminate their Membership without penalty.
Membership benefits, including, where available as offered from time to time, access to events, networking opportunities, and other Club privileges, can be amended or withdrawn at the discretion of the Proprietor.
Annual Membership Fee
Currently, no Annual Membership Fee is required. The Proprietor reserves the right to introduce or adjust fees at any time with prior notice provided to Members. If fees are introduced, Members will have the right to accept the new fee structure or terminate their Membership without penalty.
Should fees be introduced, the Proprietor will communicate payment methods and terms to Members, ensuring confidentiality and security of payment details. Further details will be shared with Members if and when fees come into effect.
Further terms, including "Suspension of Membership," "Guest Rules," "Club Conduct," and other operational guidelines, remain unchanged unless explicitly requested for alteration.
